Juxtaposition 2

Analogy
Analogy can be divided into two which are logical analogies and affective analogies. Logical analogy similarity in design, function or structure while Affective analogies emotional resemblance (use animal in conversation) for example 'you like an elephant' meaning that he is big.

Type of Analogy
1. Metaphore
-That man is a lion (very fierce)

2. Simile (use word 'like' or 'as')
-The girl is like a cat (cute girl)


Oxymoron
An expression with combining contradicting words example 'wise fool', 'legal murder', 'solid water'.

Week 7

Juxtaposition 1

This topic is very interesting and it is really related with my course(Media Innovation) in advertising part. Nowadays there are many ads that are using juxtaposition concept.

Juxtaposition is synonymous with contrast, two objects or texts that oppose one another. It is also an acts of placing two objects or words that have good contrast with each others in side by side.
